Christmas Lights Switch On

The community of Ansdell & Fairhaven truly came together for this year’s Christmas Switch-On, which took place on Woodlands Road Saturday 29 th November.

 

The evening featured two wonderful processions from either end of Woodlands Road, bringing together five local churches, our local school, a dance school, community groups, and of course a very special appearance from Father Christmas.

We were also joined by award winning comedians Phil Walker & his father Roy Walker .

 

The atmosphere was fantastic, with a stage showcasing a wide range of performances from talented local community groups, creating a real sense of celebration and togetherness.

 

It was an amazing event and a huge success, highlighting the strength, spirit, and generosity of our community and marking the start of the festive season in a truly memorable way.
