Reminder there is no public meeting until May 11th due to a by election being called .

NOTICE OF PURDAH (PRE-ELECTION PERIOD)

By-Election Date: 7th May 2026

Following the announcement of a by-election to be held on 7th May, the pre-election period (commonly known as “purdah”) is now in effect.

Purdah places specific restrictions on the activities of the council and its representatives to ensure that public resources are not used in a way that could influence the outcome of the election.
The Council will resume on 11th May and we will also hold our AGM on the same date.
