Love your beach
30th of April, 2026
Ansdell & Fairhaven Parish Council are proud to be supporting Love My Beach volunteer group by funding and providing new high-vis jackets for the team.
For the past 18 years, this dedicated group of up to 25 volunteers has met every Wednesday at The Beach Café at 9:45am, working tirelessly to keep our beautiful local area clean from the beach and sand dunes to the surrounding roads around Fairhaven.
It was great to see Councillor David Perkins officially hand over the new jackets to Paul Taylor at Ansdell Library last week , recognising the incredible work Love My Beach Volunteers continue to do for our community.
Today, Councillor David Perkins,Councillor Michelle Morris and Councillor Deborah Wilkinson were also proud to join the volunteers for a morning of litter picking and community action.
This is a brilliant example of Ansdell & Fairhaven Parish Council investing in local volunteers who care deeply about preserving our stunning coastline.
Well done to everyone involved ,a fantastic effort and a real credit to our community!
