Local Dragon Boat Race for Blue Skies Hospital Fund

Well, the weather certainly didn’t dampen our spirits yesterday at the Dragon Boat Race in support of Blue Skies Hospital! Fund.

What an absolutely epic day down at Fairhaven Lake including 16 rowers, 1 drummer, and 5 amazing supporters helping on the trombula, the Ansdell & Parish Council gave it everything they had!

We’re incredibly proud to have raised an amazing £1,837.37 for such a fantastic cause. A huge thank you to everyone who donated and to all those who came down to cheer us on.

Our Painted Paddlers,whom had never rowed before, showed incredible grit, determination, and team spirit throughout the day.

Thank you to every single person who took part ,you were truly amazing!
