Vacancy - Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer
29th of July, 2025
Ansdell and Fairhaven Parish Council is seeking to appoint a motivated, organised and community-focused individual to serve as Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO). This is a key role that supports the effective running of the Parish Council and helps ensure good governance and sound financial management.

The Parish Clerk is the Proper Officer of the Council and is responsible for the implementation of Council decisions, all statutory administration, and the effective management of finances. The Clerk is also the Council’s principal point of contact and liaison with residents and partner organisations.

Prior knowledge of local government procedures or holding the CiLCA qualification would be an advantage, although training will be supported for the right candidate.
